Any WOF Inspection site doing eWOF / Electronic WOF Checksheets using our online Smartcheck system are required by Waka Kotahi to have a the capability of undertaking WOF inspections in any instance of a service outage.
IMPORTANT: Waka Kotahi mandate that in case of a full system failure, all users of Electronic WOF sheets shall retain at least one paper WOF Checksheet book on their premises, to be only used where NZTA Waka Kotahi have been notified and agreed.
Causes of an outage include but are not limited to:
- Internet outages
- Hardware faults with the user (the workshop using Smartcheck) or the vendor (SAM/Auxo Software)
- Networking Issues with the workshop/vendor
Your first and most immediate action to undertake would be to inform Waka Kotahi to advise of the outage and seek consent to proceed with paper based checksheets until the issue is resolved.
SAM/Auxo will email affected users notification of any widespread Smartcheck system outages.
If you have a fault that you believe may not be due to your own hardware or internet connectivity issues, but have also not had a notification from us of a full system outage, please contact our helpdesk immediately, to ensure we are aware of the fault. Our helpdesk contact details can be found below.
