Sometimes there will be an annoying batch that wont post and there is still "No Action Required"



Follow these steps if the following criteria is met:

1. SAM Name & SAM GUID matches Xero Name and Matching Xero GUID
2. Xero Status is ACTIVE

In SAM


1. Change the name

You can change the name to what you like - it is suggested that "- new" is placed after it to make it easier to identify



2. Check Xero Contact in the Batch



1. Click on the Bell Icon

2. Highlight the correct batch

3. Check Xero Contact



3. Create New Contact

A: This step is different from what the messages are saying - please ignore them



1. Create New Contact in Xero



In Xero


4. Merge the OLD contact INTO the new contact


1. Open the contact WITHOUT "- new" behind it

2. Click on Options

3. Click on Merge

4. Enter the "-new" contactact

5. Tick that you understand (I hope you do...)

6. Click on Merge



In SAM


5. Edit the contact Name


Edit the contact Name back to what it should be - i.e. remove "-new"
